For some reason this blanket felt like it took ages to knit. While I was daydreaming making it, various names came to mind:
Mexican Spirit… Autumn Sunset… That 70’s show… Granny Grunt…
I nearly frogged it, it wasn’t turning out as I planned. But the more I knit the more I started to love the colour combinations, loved it enough I made 2 of them.I decided to stick with the name Burgundy Casper combining the names of the 2 yarns used. Also because we named our neighbours cat Casper… (not that they know!)Anyway, Burgundy Casper blanket has a beautifully soft drape. It’s weighty (at nearly 700g), but not too chunky. The blend of these 2 fabrics made an incredibly soft loose weave
This set includes newborn hat & stroller size blanket, giving you a beautiful matching set
